CARBOPOL 940

CARBOPOL 940 is a white powder polymer that is commonly used as a thickening and suspension agent. CARBOPOL 940 forms clear gels and emulsions and provides excellent suspension properties. When neutralized, CARBOPOL 940 thickens aqueous systems and imparts a smooth, silky feel. CARBOPOL 940 is able to suspend pigments and particles evenly without sedimentation. These suspension and thickening properties of CARBOPOL 940 make it well suited for formulations where even distribution of ingredients is important.
