PLASTORIT 0.5 is a high-performance additive developed for applications requiring brightness and opacity. With a whiteness of Y 58 and L* 80.7, PLASTORIT 0.5 delivers excellent hiding power and tinting strength. Its fine particle size distribution with over 90% under 400 microns allows for smooth dispersion and uniform coverage. The product's density of 2.78 g/cm3 and hardness of 2 on the Mohs scale make it durable for end use. PLASTORIT 0.5 is chemically inert with a neutral pH of 9.5, making it well-suited for formulations where chemical stability is required. Its unique mineral composition of mica, quartz and chlorite allows PLASTORIT 0.5 to provide opacity and durability without negatively impacting other properties of coatings and building materials.
