SP-SCXL-7777ES is a specially formulated crosslinkable semiconductive polyethylene copolymer compound for easy strippable insulation shielding of medium voltage power cables. SP-SCXL-7777ES meets the requirement of various industry standards and has high resistance to scorch and good surface smoothness. It is easy to process and has low volume resistivity. SP-SCXL-7777ES absorbs moisture, which can result in porosity in the extrudate. It is therefore recommended that the compound be dried prior to use, usually 2-4 hours with dehumidifier air at 40°C.
