SP-SCXL-8888 is a Semi Conducting cross-linkable conductor shielding compound designed for use in medium voltage power cables. SP-SCXL-8888 meets industry standards for conductivity and bondability requirements of conductor/insulation shields. Cables manufactured with SP-SCXL-8888 conductor shields are rated for high temperature operation up to 130°C, making it suitable for use in applications requiring advanced materials able to withstand extreme operating conditions. SP-SCXL-8888 has very high resistance to scorch and degradation, maintaining its conductivity even after exposure to high temperatures. It also has low volume resistivity and is easy to process.
