SP-PESC-11

SP-PESC-11 is a semi-conducting compound designed for use as a thermoplastic conductor and insulation shield. It has excellent heat deformation resistance and superior thermal stress crack resistance, making it well-suited for applications requiring toughness and durability. SP-PESC-11 meets the conductivity and bondability requirements of both conductors and insulation shields for medium voltage cables. Cables manufactured with SP-PESC-11 conductors and insulation shields are rated for continuous service up to 90°C and overload temperature up to 130°C. SP-PESC-11 absorbs moisture, which can result in porosity in the extrudate. It is therefore recommended that the compound be thoroughly dried prior to use, usually 2-4 hours in hopper drier at 70 - 75°C. SP-PESC-11 is an optimal choice for applications in the advanced materials industry that require materials with high heat resistance, toughness and durability.
