EDENOL 102

EDENOL 102 is a polyglycol ester of linear C 8-10 carboxylic acids used as a plasticizer. As per its technical data sheet, EDENOL 102 is an oily, straw-colored clear liquid with excellent low temperature plasticizing properties between -50 °C and + 100 °C. It is readily miscible with all common organic solvents. EDENOL 102 reduces surface and volume resistivity, an important property for applications where static charge generation needs to be avoided. It can be used as a plasticizer for a wide range of polymers, providing superior low temperature performance. Being insoluble in water but miscible with organic solvents, EDENOL 102 allows uniform dispersion in polymer compositions.
