NYAD M 100

Nyad M100 is a high purity, coarse wollastonite recommended for ceramic bodies and glazes. The process to manufacture this grade ensures very precise chemistry control and consistency of calcium silicate (CaSiO3) appreciated in ceramic applications. The high purity combined with low loss on ignition (LOI) enables glaze formation with reduced defects, improved thermal stability and lower coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) while maintaining high fired brightness. The acicular shape adds reinforcing benefits to green bodies such as tiles and sanitary ware prior to firing.
