EDENOL 192

EDENOL 192 is a secondary plasticizer with low volatility that is commonly used for the manufacture of PVC pastes. As a neutral ester of a monocarboxylic acid, EDENOL 192 reduces the viscosity of polymer pastes for processing. When partially replacing primary plasticizers in Advanced Materials formulations, EDENOL 192 slightly increases hardness while maintaining expansion and low temperature resistance. EDENOL 192 excellent solubility in organic solvents allows it to be easily mixed with other plasticizers used in Advanced Materials processing. Its low pour point also ensures it remains liquid during typical industrial use temperatures, improving processability of Advanced Materials.
