Propylene Glycol Indust Grade (Thai) is a clear, odorless liquid that has excellent solvent properties. It is miscible with water, alcohols, glycols, ketones and esters. Propylene Glycol Indust Grade (Thai) is used as a humectant, solvent and preservative in many applications due to its ability to absorb moisture from the air. It helps maintain the flexibility and durability of certain materials used in construction by preventing cracking and makes coatings freeze/thaw stable which is important in colder climates. Propylene Glycol Indust Grade (Thai) meets the requirements for ASTM E1177 as a food additive.
