DOWANOL DPNB (EUROPE)

DOWANOL DPNB (EUROPE) is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol ether solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. It is one of the most efficient coalescents in water-borne latex systems. DOWANOL DPNB (EUROPE) combines properties that contribute to very high quality films: high polymer plasticizing efficiency, large molecular size and greater polymer mobility, strong partitioning to the polymer phase, and relatively slow evaporation rate. These attributes make it well-suited for applications where outstanding performance is required such as lowering minimum film formation temperature to enable application in various climate conditions. DOWANOL DPNB (EUROPE) also provides excellent surface tension lowering ability.
